Moebius started in 2019 to work together with the Museum de Zwarte Tulp in Lisse (NL). The museum was previously using Adlib for the registration of their objects but wanted to make use of the integrated features which Moebius 8 does offer.
“Moebius replaces our previous Adlib system, our Audio Guides and several other smaller tools in one go. Especially that everything is stored in one place saves us a lot of time. No more exporting from one tool and importing into another necessary.”
Migration from Adlib
The museum does currently use Moebius in the following areas:
Information storage of ca. 1’300 books and ca. 11’000 objects
Digital Asset Management of ca. 10'000 highres files (more to come)
Training of local staff on Keywording, Storage, Quality Management etc.
3 different Audio-Guides for a selection of important objects
Consulting on the overall “Digital Transformation” Project
To come: Publication of all Objects from within Moebius 8 into the website of the Museum
